Luggage Storage in Seoul: Lockers, Hotels & Storage Services
Your train leaves at dinner time, but hotel checkout is in the morning. The right luggage storage is not simply the nearest locker: it is the option that fits your suitcase and lets you collect it before your next journey. Decide the collection time first, then compare storage choices.
Three options, three different checks
A station locker can suit a short stop when a compartment is available and accessible. A staffed service can be worth considering for a large suitcase or a situation where you want someone to confirm the terms. A hotel may offer storage around a stay, but ask the hotel directly; it is not an automatic entitlement or always free.
Seoul's official storage guide describes station storage and T-Luggage. The T-Luggage service website provides its own booking and service information. Use the current location-specific details rather than assuming all stations have the same facilities.

Fit comes before payment
Check the compartment's usable dimensions against the bag including wheels and handles. Do not force a case into a locker or leave a door partly closed. For multiple bags, establish whether the quoted price is per compartment or per item. If the displayed space is unsuitable, choose another option before starting a payment.
Separate the things you need during the day: passport, tickets, medication, phone charger and the method used to retrieve the bag. Check the operator's prohibited-item and valuables terms. A luggage service is not a guarantee that everything inside is insured to its full value.
Confirm collection and overnight rules
Ask four questions: When can I collect it? Is overnight storage allowed? How is extra time charged? What do I need to retrieve it? A station opening time, service-desk closing time and booking period are different things.

Save the claim ticket or digital confirmation in a way you can access without depending entirely on a drained phone. Record the precise station exit, floor or counter location. Calculate a buffer for finding the storage point and reaching your train platform.
When something goes wrong
- If lockers are full, look for the service's available alternatives or ask a staffed information desk; do not leave a bag outside a locker.
- If payment is uncertain, check whether a storage reservation or claim was created before paying again.
- If a locker will not open, keep the location, locker number and confirmation ready and contact the operator.
- If you will miss collection time, contact the service before it closes. Never assume after-hours access exists.
- If the claim receipt is lost, follow the operator's identity and ownership checks; a photo of a similar suitcase may not be sufficient.

Seoul-specific and nationwide advice
T-Luggage locations described here are Seoul services. Bag-size, claim and collection checks apply nationwide, but they do not prove that the same service is available at Busan Station or a Jeju hotel. Check the operator serving your actual stop.
Common questions
Are subway lockers accessible 24 hours?
Do not assume so. Access depends on the station and the service arrangement.
Can I leave my bags at any hotel?
Ask first. Hotels can restrict storage to guests or particular dates and impose conditions.
